And when you do find one that fits your bill, then you have to see if he can get past the novel fact that you're older and might want to take it seriously - not just have something interesting to tell his friends about.

In my humble opinion, young men are only eclipsed in the category of lack of mental and personal preparedness by one group: young women. Oh heck, they both are pretty not very ready at a young age. Sure, there are exceptions, but usually both groups should have 1-2-3 experiences, even if it's just holding hands, before jumping into something serious. If you're lucky enough to find the love of your life at age 20, God has blessed you in a way I can understand now to be beautiful - but it is mighty rare. Men are the social aggressors, and women are the pursued, almost 100% of the time. Women usually like moderately older men, cause young men are usually pretty lame, inexperienced, horny (in a bad relationship sorta way), and most of all - immature. Young women in the modern age are usually smarter, aesthetically prettier as a simple consequence of their youth, and are considered to be *more* attractive cause they're inexperienced, virgin, whatever (the opposite, for the guy). Double standard, sure - but it is what it is.

Being a woman who is turned *off* by older men, you are definitely the exception rather than the norm. Many women long for that man that can give them a certain...
